Vehicle Technician - Evening Shift

We are introducing an evening shift at our Wigan Nissan and Citroen dealership, working a 30 hour week Monday to Friday, 5pm to 11pm, for £18 an hour.

With all the same range of benefits as a day-shift team member, you will earn a full time wage whilst working just the evenings. Additional overtime would be available on the day shift and weekends.

We are looking for experienced technicians who want a little more flexibility in their lives, and if that sounds like you, we look forward to hearing from you.

Qualifications
Ideally the candidate would have a selection of the following:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent City and Guilds or BTEC accreditation)
• MOT tester preferred but not essential as training will be given.
• Franchised trained and accredited.
• Full drivers licence mandatory requirement
• A level of computer literacy relevant to the role

Role

• You will be required to diagnose any faults in vehicles
• You will be able to communicate all technical information in an accessible and concise manner
• Undertake repairs and carry out routine servicing and health checks
• Ensure consistency in level of service and performance
• Under take MOT inspections (once qualified)
• Other workshop duties as advised by the duty manager
