Nissan LEAF Gets a New Design For 2022

The electric vehicle that started it all is getting a new look

You read correctly - the 2022 Nissan LEAF is coming and it's bringing us a refreshed new look with vibrant colour choices and some newly designed alloy wheels.

Exterior

Looking at the images, not THAT much has changed. The major changes to the exterior of the LEAF are the two new colours available (Pearl Blue & Magnetic Blue), the updated logo, and a fresh set of 16" & 17" alloy wheels which make the Nissan LEAF stand out from other models in the Nissan range as these are the first time we're seeing them.

Interior & Tech

Unfortunately, the interior on offer on the 2022 LEAF remains unchanged. All the LEAFs are available with the ProPILOT system, which gives you adaptive cruise control and traffic jam assist to take some of the strain out of your driving experience.

You'll still see the standard NissanConnect in this vehicle, which if you didn't know controls all your Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, climate control, and NissanConnect services (depending on the trim you choose).

And one of the most notable features of the LEAF, the e-Pedal, remains in place to give you a comfortable and simplistic driving experience.

Drivetrains

Batteries and drivetrain remain unchanged with the 39kWh & 59kWh options being your only choices, with the 39kWh battery capable of producing up to 168 miles of range and the 59kWh option bumping this range up to 239 miles.

Release Date

The 2022 LEAF will be available from March 2022.
