Hyundai has revealed a new i20 model, this time inspired by the performance topping N-Line range which you see with the i10, Tucson & i30 models.
With those other models, the Hyundai i20 N-Line will feature the classic bespoke styling elements with the front of the car being issued with a bespoke bumper which features grey contrasting stripes, a black grille with a "chequered flag" style pattern and a prominent N-Line badge.
The N-Line theme continues around the back of the car with the rear featuring a diffuser-style bumper, triangular fog lights (as seen on the i30 N) and a chrome twin-exhaust system.
Finishing off the exterior of the car are a set of bespoke, two-tone 17" alloy wheels which meet the standards set by the N-Line range, adding to the beautiful sporty exterior of the i20.
The N-Line is available in a choice of four colours. Phantom Black, Aurora Grey, Brass and Polar White, with the latter able to be specified with a black roof.
The interior of the i20 will follow suit and gain the N badging, complimented with red stitching throughout the sports front seats, bespoke steering wheel, while down below there will be metal pedals and an N-branded leather gear knob.
The new i20 will be offered in Europe with a choice of two engines - a 1.2-litre petrol packed with 83bhp or a 1.0-litre unit with 99bhp or 118bhp - though the most powerful option is likely to come to the UK, exciting!
The powertrain is equipped with 48V mild-hybrid technology and optionally available with Hyundai’s new Intelligent Manual Transmission for boosted efficiency, with tweaks to the car’s suspension, accelerator response and exhaust sound giving an “enhanced driving experience”.
The pricing for the i20 still remains unconfirmed, but the N-Line can be expected to be over the estimated £21,000 starting price of the current range-topper.
