Kia has announced that it will sell only electric and fuel-cell vehicles globally by 2040 and plans to become completely carbon neutral across its entire network by 2045.
As part of the strategy, which includes a fully-electrified Europe by 2035, Kia plans on introducing the first-ever hydrogen fuel cell vehicle in the next decade.
The new hydrogen-based vehicle will join the seven new electric vehicles that Kia has planned for launch between now and 2027.
Recently, Kia teased the next step in this strategy with the Concept EV9, a seven-seat EV prototype that is due to be unveiled today (11th November 2021)
You can watch the unveiling on Kia's YouTube channel.
