Vauxhall has decided to ditch the diesel variant from the Corsa range after 35 years to focus on petrol & electric versions due to customer demand.
The removal of diesel from the Corsa range leaves the firm's best-selling hatchback with the existing 1.2L petrol engine, as well as the fully electric 'Corsa-e'.
In a statement, a Vauxhall spokesperson said: "The Vauxhall Corsa is based on a multi-energy platform, giving consumers the choice of powertrain that best suits their needs.
Vauxhall has committed to going fully electric from 2028 and in line with that commitment will review its powertrain offering from time to time".
No other models in the Vauxhall range are currently affected by this change.
