Thanks to a bigger battery, the 2023 Vauxhall Mokka-e will be capable of producing 252 miles of range on a single charge.
The new Mokka-e will be getting a new 54kWh battery pack that will replace the current 50kWh unit found in the outgoing model. This seemingly small improvement of 4kWh to the battery goes a long way as the outgoing version has a range of 209 - meaning the 2023 model will benefit from an additional 43 miles of range.
As well as fitting a new battery, Vauxhall has also upgraded the front electric motor that will now generate 154bph and 260Nm of torque - an improvement of 20bhp, which will also allow the 2023 Mokka-e to reach 62mph in under 10 seconds.
This new battery is very similar to the one that was announced for the new Astra Electric, albeit with 10Nm less torque. But like the Astra, the Mokka-e supports 100kW DC rapid charging, allowing you to charge from 0 - 80% in 30 minutes, with an 11kW onboard charger fitted as standard too.
