Where is Isuzu made?
You might already own an Isuzu D-Max and you're just curious as to where they are made. Or you're thinking of buying your first and you just want to do some digging into the background of Isuzu and where they come from.
Well: Isuzu pick-up trucks are primarily manufactured in two locations.
- Thailand: This is the main production hub for the D-Max, which is their current global pick-up truck model. They have a manufacturing plant in Samut Prakan, Thailand, where a significant portion of D-Max trucks are produced for both domestic and international markets.
- Japan: Though Thailand is the main production hub, Isuzu also produces limited numbers of D-Max trucks in Japan for the domestic market. Additionally, other pick-up truck models like the Traga (meant for emerging markets) are also manufactured in Japan.
We hope this clarifies where Isuzu pick-ups are made for you.
