When you buy a Nissan LEAF, no matter whether new or used, Chorley Nissan will arrange for a 16A Pod-Point home charger to be installed at your home free of charge (subject to survey).

The benefit of having a dedicated home charger installed, rather than just using the 3 pin plug-lead which comes with the car, is that it can charge the car quicker (3.3kW per hour, rather than 2kW), and it also means that there is no risk of overloading your ring-main with a car which may be charging at a constant 10A for several hours.

It’s also fully weatherproof, and comes with a 5 metre cable permanently attached, so you don’t need to carry a wet cable into your boot when you unplug at home.
