On 18 March, the Office for Zero-Emission Vehicles (OZEV) confirmed grants for battery electric vehicles (BEVs) would be reduced to £2,500 (from £3,000) for vehicles under £35,000. Vehicles over £35,000 will no longer be eligible for the grant; previously, vehicles under £50,000 were eligible.
Don't worry, we’re committed to our Quarter 1 pricing model, despite the grant reduction.
Advance payment values for Scheme BEVs will remain the same throughout Q1 (including BEVs over £35,000 that are no longer eligible for the grant).
OZEV has confirmed the original grant amount (£3,000) will apply for applications placed before 18 March.
