We are looking for a Trainee Sales Executive to join the team at our Burnley dealership. You will be working alongside experienced colleagues and trained in selling a combination of new and used vehicles, with a wide range of finance and insurance products.
You must have held a full clean driving licence for a minimum of 12 months to be able to apply for this role. But if you do and you have drive, energy, personality and a can-do attitude, please read further.

Our Burnley dealership is home to both Nissan & MG showrooms, as well as an impressive used-car forecourt. You will have ample opportunity here to learn from a well-established team, with some previous graduates of our training programme setting fabulous examples of sales and earning potential.
Working in a dealership sales environment can be challenging – its a target-driven industry and regulated by the FCA so process is very important – but it is also very rewarding in both job satisfaction and take-home pay. As a trainee you’ll start on a basic of between £15,000 and £20,000 per year with no targets to work to, but once you complete the training you could be on target to earning £25,000 to £30,000, and experienced Execs can easily exceed £60,000 per year.
We are open 7 days a week, and our sales team work 5 days on a rota covering both weekdays where we close at 7pm and weekends where end of day is 5pm. You’ll work between 40 and 45 hours per week, which will be the same when you complete the training and become a fully-fledged Executive.

We’ve already talked money and let’s be honest, it’s a short term hit for a long-term gain. Training will last between 4 and 8 months on average and once you start getting and hitting your targets the £30,000 to £60,000 per year is very realistic.
