Location - Burnley, Lancashire.

We’re looking for an experienced and talented Prep and MOT Vehicle Technician to join our team at our Burnley branch.

You will get the hands on experience of operating in a franchised environment where the standards are high, but the satisfaction is even higher.

I like where this is going, what will be my responsibilities?

When it comes to your role, you will be expected to perform the following;

• Road testing vehicles and diagnosing problems as and when required.
• Carry out inspections, repairs and services and check vehicles against VOSA legislation.
• Carry out full PDI checks on all vehicles.
• Complete MOT testing
• Ensure all paperwork is accurate and up to date
• Ensure all jobs are completed within agreed timeframes and whilst maintaining a high level of productivity
• Work closely with the service reception team and parts team to ensure we deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Keep work area and protective clothing clean, tidy and in a safe condition.

The minimum requirements we expect from you are;

• MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM MOT’s
• Relevant qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3)
• Ideally have franchise experience, although it isn’t a necessity as full training will be given
• You must have a current clean full U.K. driving licence
• Minimum 3 years’ experience (ideally for a franchise group)
