Chorley Group is family owned franchise motor dealer with dealerships throughout the North West, representing some of the biggest Manufacturer brands in the UK.
We are seeking a highly skilled Front-end developer eager to learn Back-end, or a Full Stack Developer with previous Back-end experience to work on our recently launched in-house BI system, creating the next phase of reporting suites alongside maintenance and revisions to the existing system.
Key Responsibilities:
- User-centric development: Collaborate with teams across the business to design and develop a user centric web application that prioritises user experience
- Front-end: Utilise your knowledge to create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
- Back-end: Support the back end in various tasks
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions
- Take part in code reviews and pair programming
Skills / Requirements:
- Have a strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid experience in React, understanding its life cycle
- Solid understanding of front-end development technologies
- Working knowledge of .NET and WebAPIs
- Experience working with SQL
- Experience in code version control such as GitHub / BitBucket
- Strong knowledge of UX/UI principles and ability to collaborate effectively with designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
- Excellent problem solving skills and a proactive attitude towards challenges
