Changing a Nissan key fob battery is a simple process that can be done in just a few minutes. The exact steps will vary depending on the model of your Nissan, but the general process is as follows:
If you're having trouble opening the fob, you can try using a thin piece of plastic, such as a credit card, instead of a screwdriver (saves you marking the fob also!)
Be careful not to touch the metal contacts on the battery or the circuit board inside the fob as this could damage the fob and could lead to a costly replacement!
But if you're not comfortable changing the battery yourself, visit your local Chorley Group Nissan dealership and we'll be able to change it for you for a small fee.
